Head Varsity Girls Coach, Blue Valley Southwest (KS.)

Jason Pendleton has been a high school coach for 18 years and the Head Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer Coach at Blue Valley Southwest since 2010. In the school’s first year, the girls team made it to the state finals. Prior to coaching at BVSW he was the head boys and girls coach at Free State High School in Lawrence, KS for 11 years (1999-2010). Before that he started the soccer program at Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS (1996-1999). He began his coaching career in his hometown of Bakersfield, California at Stockdale High School (1992-1994). He has been recognized as the NSCAA Kansas State Coach of the year and the NSCAA Midwest Regional Coach of the Year (2011).  Additionally, he is the Director of Coaching Education for the recreation program for the Metro-United Soccer Club in Shawnee, KS.

Coach Pendleton also serves as the State Director for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for Kansas with responsibilities for leading coaching education courses throughout the state. Additionally, he is an associate national staff coach for the NSCAA and helps instruct the High School Diploma and National Diploma.. Coach Pendleton holds an NSCAA Premier Diploma.
